Ubiquitous Dance Company of Bend, Oregon, was founded by Dee Dee Burzynski in 2006 in an effort to give local dancers with contemporary dance and ballet experience a place to perform and create. Since then, UDC has expanded to become a highly-respected dance company known for its leading edge and unique choreography, as well as continuing its dedication promoting a well-supported dance community.
Members and apprentices are exposed to significant body of works, from a diverse variety of choreographers, as well as many different styles of dance. UDC dancers also have the opportunity to assist in the artistic process for original commissioned choreography and they are encouraged to contribute works of their own.
UDC has performed for the Sarah Fisher Breast Cancer Benefit, Central Oregon Showcase, Central Oregon Woman’s Expo, Obsidian Opera, The Blue Skies North West Choreographers Series, LA Dance Force (LADF) competition, where they received the two highest gold medals in the ballet duet and ballet group categories. UDC formal performances include 'Da Inizio' in 2008 and 'Diversity' in 2010. Ubiquitous Dance Company's 2012 upcoming formal performance will be this Fall.
